Description
Nishihara presides over the Track and Field Club, sporting short blue hair and blue eyes. She favors athletic attire but dons the standard school uniform for specific events like a hula hooping contest or an air viscosity experiment. Her intense physical fitness causes hyperhidrosis, leading to excessive sweating. To manage this, she commissions Ueno, the science club president, to create the PE Reservoir—a specialized outfit that absorbs sweat and converts it into drinkable water.

Energetic and brash, Nishihara exhibits a strong maternal instinct, particularly awakened when Ueno drinks directly from the PE Reservoir, prompting her subsequent nurturing behavior towards Ueno. She frequently interacts with Ueno, requesting inventions like the PE Reservoir and Weighbels. Their dynamic blends collaboration and rivalry; Nishihara participates in schemes such as the hula hooping contest aimed at attracting Tanaka's attention, though plans often falter. She is aware of Ueno's feelings for Tanaka.

A recurring rivalry pits the Track and Field Club against the Science Club in school relay races. The Science Club typically wins using Ueno's inventions, like rocket shoes. However, in Nishihara's third year, after previous losses, she finally secures victory when the Science Club lacks its key advantage, earning Ueno's congratulations.

Other notable moments include her attendance at a female club presidents' meeting and instances where she inadvertently disrupts Ueno's plans. Her sweating increases room humidity during an attempt to use the Saved Ice Machine on Tanaka, ruining the plan. During the air viscosity experiment, an accidental physical encounter with Tanaka occurs when she dives for a remote, leading her to disbelieve his claims of unintentional contact. Her name, along with fellow female sports club presidents Unogawa, Minamine, and Kitanaga, forms a pun based on cardinal directions—West, East, South, and North.
