Description
Doromizu Pirako, also known as Chin Pirako, is the determined daughter of Doromizu Jirochou, a leader among Kabukicho’s Four Devas. Raised by a mother who clung to the belief in Jirochou’s inherent goodness despite his abandonment, Pirako’s childhood fueled her resolve to reunite her fractured family. Her driving goal—to strip her father of his Deva title and reclaim a peaceful life with him—propels her to manipulate Kabukicho’s factions, sparking the Four Devas conflict.

Posing initially as a hotheaded assassin infiltrating Yorozuya and Otose’s circle, her facade masks a cunning strategist. Partnering with Kujaku Hime Kada, she engineers a power struggle among the Devas, aiming to isolate Jirochou from Otose while amplifying his authority. Though her inherited swordsmanship allows her to dismantle combat machines effortlessly, her reliance on intimidation falters against Shimura Shinpachi, who subdues her with a nonlethal strike.

Beneath her schemes simmers a fraught bond with Jirochou, blending bitterness and yearning. Her machinations force his retirement, a bittersweet victory that softens into collaboration during the Silver Soul Arc, where father and daughter unite to protect Kabukicho from invasion.

Her dynamic with Sakata Gintoki carries undertones of romantic possibility, marked by a marriage proposal intended to bind him to her family. Jirochou’s subsequent protectiveness hints at this tension, though her ambitions remain rooted in familial reconciliation. Visually striking with short vermillion hair pinned at the front, she wears a pink floral kimono and cultivates an affinity for ikebana. Her alias “Chin Pirako” nods to “chinpira,” a term for petty outlaws, mirroring her defiant yet localized impact.
