TV-Series
Description
Tsubasa commands the Orochi as its First Head, leading eight disciples dedicated to serving the destructive deity Yamata no Orochi. He coordinates their efforts to eliminate the solar and lunar priestesses. His mecha, Take no Yasukunazuchi, boasts wing-like structures and attacks using arm-mounted swords; in direct combat, Tsubasa primarily wields a sword and employs explosive knives. He demonstrates strategic acumen alongside Sister Miyako among the Orochi, tempered by an arrogant demeanor.

He is the biological older brother of Sōma Ōgami, having left Sōma with the Ōgami family as a child after becoming a fugitive. This separation resulted from Tsubasa killing their abusive father to protect Sōma, an act that initiated his criminal history. Sōma retains only vague memories of him. Despite his allegiance to Orochi, Tsubasa consistently seeks to convert Sōma to their cause rather than kill him, revealing an enduring loyalty to his brother. The mark of Orochi appears over his heart.

His motivations diverge from fellow disciples. While committed to Orochi's vision, his actions are frequently driven by a desire to protect Sōma. This culminates in his sacrifice to free Sōma from Orochi's curse, proving his love for his brother ultimately overrides his dedication to destruction. During the final confrontations, he battles the rogue lunar priestess Chikane to a standstill and temporarily destroys Sōma's mecha, Take no Yamikazuchi, before withdrawing.

Following the Orochi's defeat, Tsubasa and the other disciples are restored with no memory of their service to the deity, implying a return to an ordinary existence free from darkness.
