Description
Allen is the older fraternal twin born to Wyndell, the Water God, and an Etelldian human woman who died during childbirth due to complications from bearing demi-gods. Their father, residing in another dimension, was absent at their birth, leaving the twins vulnerable. A neglectful landlord sold the infants to a slave trader. Though Allen inherited dormant godly powers from Wyndell—powers that briefly manifested when he destroyed his crib in self-defense as a baby—he and his sister were confined for years in a dark basement under the slave trader's ownership. Water nagas, retainers of the Water God, monitored them from afar but could not intervene.
At age five, while being transported through the Forest of Gaia, the slave trader abandoned Allen and his sister Elena as monster bait to escape. They survived alone in the forest for years, facing monsters by awakening their latent abilities. Eventually discovered malnourished, dirty, and nonverbal by Takumi Kayano, the twins were cleansed, healed, and fed. Takumi named them Alan and Elena. They began traveling with him, gradually developing trust and forming a familial bond.
