Description
May is a character from the anime Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE. She is a female electronic lifeform known as an EL-Diver, meaning she is an artificial intelligence that exists within the Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN) game world. May believes strongly in solo play and prefers to operate alone in GBN. Her only interest is in Gunpla Battle, and she engages in battles every day within the game.
Her battle style is highly analytical and methodical. She is able to instantly calculate the best possible strategy for any given situation, then calmly and efficiently bring down her opponent. This tactical prowess makes her a feared presence among other Divers in GBN.
May pilots a custom Gunpla called the JMA0530-MAY Wodom Pod, which is based on the JMA-0530 (Model U) Wodom from Turn A Gundam. She also has the ability to pilot a mobile suit known as the Mobile Doll May, which is a representation of her own form.
As an EL-Diver, May is not a human player but a sentient program. Her initial role in the story is that of a lone, battle-focused entity. Over the course of the series, she becomes entangled with the main group of Divers, the BUILD DiVERS, and her character develops beyond a simple desire for combat.
