Description
Amiya is a young Chimera from Rim Billiton, primarily exhibiting Cautus traits including distinctive rabbit-like ears. Standing approximately 142 cm tall and appearing around 14 to 15 years old, she serves as the public face and leader of Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical organization dedicated to combating the terminal disease Oripathy while protecting the infected. Her leadership spans medical, tactical, and humanitarian operations, often navigating ethical dilemmas between compassion and wartime pragmatism in conflicts with groups like the Reunion Movement.
Amiya wields Originium Arts that manifest as dark energy for ranged attacks, along with unique empathic abilities that allow her to sense and influence emotions. Ten rings restrain her full power. She is the successor to Theresa, the former Sarkaz King of Kazdel, and is prophesied as the “Lord of Fiends”—a figure in Sarkaz eschatology capable of bringing either apocalypse or salvation. When confronting powerful adversaries, she can remove one of her rings to access the memories and powers of past Sarkaz kings. This transformation summons a black greatsword named Ying Xiao, shifts her combat style to close-quarters swordplay, and encases her right arm in a vambrace resembling that of the Sarkaz king Kollam. Her ultimate ability, Chimera, dramatically boosts her attack and maximum HP, expands her range, and converts damage to a Pure type, though it forces automatic retreat after use and carries physical risks.
Her relationship with the amnesiac Doctor is central to her development; she greets them upon their awakening, coordinates missions with them frequently, and regards them as a guiding presence. Her character arc involves grappling with failures, the dual nature of Rhodes Island as both a sanctuary and a military force, and the looming prophecy of the Lord of Fiends—framing her journey as a struggle between fulfilling a destructive destiny or forging a path toward redemption for Terra. Much of her background remains classified within Rhodes Island’s records.
