TV-Series
Description
Mabel resides in Cappy Town, Dream Land, serving as the local fortune teller. She operates a parlor where she peers into a crystal ball, offering predictions and advice to fellow Cappies. Her appearance features a pear-shaped body, a distinctive purple and orange headdress with a large amethyst center, hoop earrings, magenta lipstick, and golden bangles on each wrist. Four prominent eyelashes on each eye emphasize her feminine presentation.

She openly criticizes King Dedede's tyrannical rule, making her one of few Cappies to oppose him directly. This defiance earns respect from townspeople but hostility from the king. Despite this, Dedede occasionally consults her due to his superstitions, which Mabel exploits to manipulate him into acting for Dream Land's benefit. Her purported psychic abilities are a facade. She relies on information from Samo, the local bartender, who overhears town gossip. Mabel crafts tailored advice disguised as prophecies, a secret initially kept between her and Samo.

Key episodes define her journey. In "Prediction Predicament," she investigates Dedede's nightmares using the castle observatory and falsely claims an approaching asteroid will destroy Dream Land as punishment for his cruelty. This backfires when the asteroid threat materializes, forcing her to confess her deception to Samo. In "One Crazy Knight," Sir Gallant mistakes her for Princess Zaia due to her regal appearance. After Dedede attacks Gallant, Mabel compassionately adopts the princess persona to restore his spirit.

"Mabel Turns the Tables" marks a pivotal moment. She hosts a TV show, "What's My Fortune?," where Cappies draw cards predicting misfortunes. Samo and local children stage these "prophecies" to bolster her reputation. When Dedede appoints her prime minister, she falsely warns of Dream Land's imminent destruction by the sea. This culminates in a staged miracle where Tornado Kirby parts the ocean, exposing her scheme.

Mabel participates in community events like New Year celebrations and labor in Dedede's factory. Her relationship with Samo evolves into romance, though she frequently teases his insecurities. She occasionally mentors Tiff, collaborating on plans to counter Dedede's schemes.

Trivia includes Sir Gallant's accidental portrayal of her as royalty and a scene in "Combat Kirby" where she demonstrates unusual strength by lifting a heavy dumbbell. In "Frog Wild," Demon Kirby destroys her crystal ball, referencing Edvard Munch's painting *The Scream*.
