Description
Nagara works as a school teacher, identifiable by her black hair, purple eyes, and her ever-present glasses. These glasses earned her the mocking nickname "Vierauge" (Four-Eyes) from her colleague, Juri Kibayashi, who uses it behind her back. Nagara staunchly adheres to science and rejects anything supernatural or occult as unscientific nonsense. She finds Juri Kibayashi's practices involving spirits and the supernatural utterly laughable. Nagara maintains science provides definitive explanations for everything and denies ghosts or spirits exist, even when witnessing supernatural events directly. She dismissed a fire spirit Juri summoned for classroom lighting as merely illegal open combustion violating safety regulations.
This rigid scientific perspective shapes her view of students. She considers her own class of elite students vastly superior to Juri's class, which she sees as a chaotic group led by an inadequate teacher. Mutual animosity defines her relationship with Juri Kibayashi, though the two teachers are noted to be quite similar in some respects despite their antagonism.
