Description
Dante is a Dandelion Fairilu originating from a Fairilu Seed in Little Fairilu. His name reflects the dandelion flower, known for its wind-borne seeds. As a Flower Fairilu, Dante possesses a unique Fairilu Key that opens magical doors, crucial for his growth and connection to the human world.
He has tan skin, lime eyes, and short, fuzzy yellow hair, usually topped with a light green stem hat. Dante sports plain yellow wings and wears a dark gold top featuring white stripes on each sleeve, puffy turquoise and pale brown striped pants, teal socks, and brown shoes. His Fairilu Key hangs around his neck. Later depictions sometimes show him without his hat and stockings, wearing a green top, and with paler skin, though these changes are inconsistent in hand-drawn animations.
Dante excels in sports and displays a competitive streak, particularly toward the Sunflower Fairilu, Himawari, whom he considers his rival. He frequently engages in athletic contests and clashes with her. Despite their conflicts, he holds deep affection for her, and their disagreements typically resolve through mutual apologies, highlighting his passionate but reconcilable nature.
His primary aspiration is to become a unicorn racing jockey. This ambition is central in episodes focused on unicorn races, such as his competition against the Autumn Darter Fairilu, Akiakane, showcasing his determination and skill.
In storylines involving the human world, Dante forms bonds with humans, notably making a significant promise with Haruto Kusunoki, emphasizing themes of dedication and friendship. He also visits the human world alongside Himawari, further exploring their interconnected lives.
Dante uses the Fairilu Magic phrase "Dan Dan Dante," though specific applications or effects of this magic are not detailed in available sources.
