Description
Nina is a witch operating a shop in Ura-Harajuku, a place rumored to fulfill secret wishes. She uses a charm to draw people to her establishment. To make customers feel comfortable, she adopts clothing styles and mannerisms suited to each individual. Her method involves inviting them into a magical space where their deepest true feelings are brought to the surface and potentially fulfilled. This process allows customers to confront their inner desires and decide whether to act upon them. Through these interactions, Nina experiences the joys, hurts, and conflicts inherent in human emotions.

She is accompanied by two animal companions: a chameleon and a mint-colored pig. These creatures act as her mentors, guiding her in running the shop and enforcing its rules. They hold the authority to compel her to fulfill her duties, even when she is reluctant.

Nina was once a lonely schoolgirl who faced bullying. Her journey to becoming a witch began when she stood on the verge of jumping off a rooftop, a path she considered after a classmate had done the same. She was saved by an invitation to Ura-Harajuku, which offered her a new purpose. However, her motivation for becoming a witch was not entirely pure; it was partly an escape from her painful school life rather than a wholly selfless desire to help others.

She grapples with the ethical constraints of her role. The rules of Ura-Harajuku require her to grant all wishes, even those that are self-destructive or harmful. This obligation causes her considerable distress, particularly after fulfilling a wish for eternal quiet for a customer named Ruru, which she found horrifying. This event led Nina to openly rebel against her duties. She attempted to reject a subsequent customer but was physically forced to comply by her mentors, who used puppet strings to control her actions. This rebellion culminated in Nina breaking free from those strings to prevent further harm.

Her internal conflict peaks when her own younger self becomes a customer. This encounter forces Nina to confront the fact that she became a witch for the wrong reasons. Her younger self reminds her that the role was not meant to be an escape from bullying. Despite this, Nina acknowledges that she has helped more people than she has harmed. She admits that she genuinely enjoys making people happy and decides to continue her work for the time being, though she leaves open the possibility of quitting in the future.

Physically, Nina has purple eyes and long purple hair that reaches her hips. She appears to be a teenager. Her fashion style is variable and dynamic, often changing to match her customers' tastes. She has been depicted in a range of outfits, from bright and kawaii to mature gothic and lolita styles, including a cream-colored sweet lolita design in one episode.

The outcomes of her interventions vary. Customers like Haruka, Mana, and Akihiro are shown to have found happier and more authentic paths in their lives after their visits. However, the experience also highlights the complexities and potential dangers of granting deep-seated wishes, as seen in the cases of Ruru and the duo Tiara and Saki.
