Jack races for the monobike team Killer Commandos, crashing at his uncle's high-rise apartment in Io, the Aphrodian capital. When Ishtaran forces occupy the city, Jack joins the Commandos' attack on enemy tanks positioned within their own racing stadium. During this assault, Jack and the team's manager, Gary, fall to the Ishtaran military.
