Description
Damien Carme is a fairy scholar dedicated to collecting pages from the Black Fairy Tome, working closely with Veronica Thorn in this quest. Descended from Crucia Albastora, the Tome's original author, he concealed his lineage by altering his surname. He possesses long brown hair, a short full beard, and typically dresses in brown pants, a white shirt, and a brown long coat.

He orchestrates Veronica's theft of an auctioned tome page, instantly recognizing it as a forgery. Later, during a meeting with Cain Distarol interrupted by Free Underbar, Marlya Noel, and "Sweetie" Bitter Sweet, a fairy attack occurs. Damien rushes to verify the real tome's safety, inadvertently exposing its location and enabling Axel Laboo to steal it. Observing from a rooftop with Veronica, he remarks on the ease of luring their targets and expresses surprise when Veronica suggests Marlya might be fairy-possessed.

After the tome's recovery, Damien withholds information about its origins during questioning by Marlya and Free, also denying knowledge of Veronica. Learning from Cain about the emergence of the Black Fairy Tome Nine, he and Veronica attempt to secure it but are thwarted by Eajey Daven Thor. Eajey recognizes Damien's ancestry during their confrontation, forcing their retreat. "Sweetie" Bitter Sweet later approaches Damien, proposing a partnership to acquire the tome, which he accepts.

The next day, while strategizing with "Sweetie," Damien spots Free and Marlya and approaches them for information. Veronica arrives, pursued by Eajey, prompting Damien to call out to her and warn the others about Eajey's Fairy Weapon. This action exposes his connection to Veronica to Marlya. Free and Marlya subsequently arrest him and transport him to Dorothea headquarters, where he requests to speak with Nein Auler. During their meeting, he discloses his true identity and objectives. For safety, he is relocated under the guard of Free and Marlya. At the new location, he informs Nein that Marco Bellwood and Glyph Mercer are descendants of the fairy tome scholars and members of Ein.

Learning Marco possesses all Black Fairy Tomes, Damien deduces Marco's goal is resurrecting the Divine Beast and predicts his next step is acquiring a fairy-possessed organ. He meets Nein to explain the situation, expresses his desire to collaborate with Dorothea to stop Marco, and requests a meeting with Golbarn Helwise. After Nein agrees, they meet Golbarn, and Damien provides a full explanation, leading Golbarn to order Marco's arrest. Three months after the Divine Beast incident, Damien begins working at the Ministry of Fairies.

He is an ordinary human without fairy organs or enhancements, possessing no supernatural abilities or combat powers.
