Description
Sakura is the school nurse at Tomobiki High School and a Shinto priestess who performs exorcisms and purification rituals. As the niece of the Buddhist monk Cherry, she contrasts sharply with her relatives in appearance—tall, slender, and conventionally attractive. Her childhood was defined by severe illness and isolation; confined to bed with a weak constitution, she grew profoundly lonely. This isolation awakened her ability to see spirits and ghosts, beginning with an early supernatural encounter in a closet. Cherry cared for her throughout this period.
