Description
Mika Ayanokōji reigns over Higashigetsu Fūma Witch Academy, seeking to dominate its female students through her subordinate Kaon. Her rule thrives on jealousy and possessiveness, erupting most violently when witnessing interactions between Kaon and Himiko—a student she punishes for perceived failures and emotional rivalry. Mika’s fixation on Kaon originates from the latter’s resemblance to a nurse who tended to her during hospitalization after the catastrophic "Seven Days of Hot Snow." The disaster left Mika with a bandaged left eye and heterochromatic irises: purple in the right, orange in the left—the latter speculated to be an implant.
As the second youngest scion of the Ayanokōji family, Mika harbors venomous hatred toward her siblings. She reviles her elder brother Kazuya, blaming him for stealing her first love in her youth and orchestrating events that deepened her suffering, dubbing him "the demon." Her contempt extends to younger brother Kyoshiro, scorned as "the demon’s tail" for his perceived loyalty to Kazuya. Conflict with brother Sōjirō simmers over clashing ideologies, particularly her ruthless advocacy of torture.
Driven by obsession, Mika overwrites Kaon’s mana-binding mark with her own, forcibly binding the Absolute Angel’s loyalty and severing her connection to Himiko. Yet in a final twist, Mika entrusts Himiko with rescuing Kaon from Kazuya’s grasp, supplying a cello-like device crafted by her grandfather to suppress mana and inflict agony on Absolute Angels. This act precedes her demise from a fatal stomach wound dealt by Kazuya, where she voices regret for her cruelty and mourns Kaon’s unreturned devotion.
Long purple hair frames her striking presence, accentuated by a pink dress, thigh-high purple boots, and a flowing pinkish-red cape. Flashbacks reveal her hospitalization and deteriorating health, worsened by reckless mana transfers to sustain Kaon. Mika’s motivations intertwine childhood trauma with a hunger for dominion, forging a legacy of manipulation, familial vendettas, and a fleeting glimpse of remorse in her final breath.
