Description
Ajit appears across multiple seasons of the Bakugan series. An orphan who fled his orphanage, he was rescued from a dog attack by Calloway Storm, who took him in and trained him as a phantom thief. During a mission with Storm, Ajit encountered a Maze Gate leading to a temple where he discovered the Aurelus Bakugan Pharol and Auxillataur. Unfamiliar with Bakugan but drawn to their golden appearance, he kept them. When threatened by Tiko, Pharol and Auxillataur defended him, forging their partnership.
Originally Storm's apprentice, Ajit abandoned phantom thievery to pursue Bakugan brawling. He interrupted a tournament by challenging Dan Kouzo after Pharol defeated China Riot's Maxotaur. Lacking formal brawling knowledge, he learned basics from the Awesome Brawlers during his first battle against Dan. Despite this, he displayed natural talent, swiftly becoming a formidable opponent. Ajit betrayed Storm during a theft, rejecting his mentor's methods to join the Awesome Brawlers. After Storm exposed his criminal past, Ajit secretly returned all stolen treasures with unexpected help from Dan, ultimately leaving Storm's influence to live normally under Benton Dusk's guardianship.
Ajit is the first known Aurelus Bakugan brawler. His initial guardians were Aurelus Pharol and Aurelus Auxillataur. In Geogan Rising, Pharol entered prolonged slumber, prompting Ajit to partner with Aurelus Pincitaur as his new guardian while also wielding Aurelus Geogan Titan King. During Evolutions, Pharol returned from hibernation, underwent an elemental evolution, and Ajit gained the Nanogan Lancer.
His personality merges playfulness with underlying seriousness. He frequently forgets names—particularly China Riot's—and sometimes engages in lighthearted pranks. During conflicts against antagonists like Haavik's team or Storm, he adopts a focused, determined demeanor. His arc highlights loyalty to his Bakugan partners and choosing ethics over his criminal history.
