An orphan fleeing his institution, Ajit encountered Calloway Storm during a perilous confrontation with a dog. Storm intervened, rescuing Ajit and training him as a phantom thief. On one mission, Ajit discovered a Maze Gate leading to a temple containing the Aurelus Bakugan Pharol and Auxillataur. Unfamiliar with Bakugan, he kept them solely for their golden appearance, marking the beginning of his partnership with Pharol as his primary guardian. Ajit's early actions involved clashes with the Awesome Brawlers, featuring alternating victories in battles against Dan Kouzo. He later betrayed Storm during a Bakugan Battle League final to join the Awesome Brawlers, seeking personal redemption. Storm retaliated by exposing Ajit's phantom thief past, forcing his temporary disappearance. Ajit then undertook a solo mission to return stolen treasures, culminating in a final confrontation with Storm where the Awesome Brawlers intervened to secure victory. Kravitz subsequently provided stability for a more conventional life.
Physically, Ajit has black hair with three yellow streaks, light brown skin, and amber eyes. He typically wears a pale tan t-shirt featuring yellow and dark red stripes with zippers on both sides, dark green capris trousers adorned with yellow stripes, and yellow, grey, and white sneakers. He consistently wears a dogtag necklace. Personality-wise, Ajit is forgetful, particularly with names like China Riot, and enjoys pranks, though less frequently than figures like Wynton Styles. A serious demeanor surfaces during phantom thief activities or confrontations with antagonists such as Haavik, though his overall disposition remains friendly and amiable.
Regarding Bakugan partnerships, Aurelus Pharol served as his initial guardian during "Armored Alliance." In "Geogan Rising," Aurelus Pincitaur became his primary guardian following Pharol's absence, alongside the Aurelus Geogan Titan King. During "Evolutions," Pharol returned in an elementally evolved state and gained the Nanogan Lancer. Ajit is recognized as the first Aurelus-aligned brawler in the series. Within "Legends," he participated in the conflict against Nova Hanoj, contributing to the Battle Judgement alongside the Awesome Brawlers. Ajit mastered the Nova technique to access specialized Nova Cores during combat, aligning with the team's efforts to counter Hanoj's threat to Earth and Vestroia. Specific narrative developments in "Legends" centered on collective group actions rather than his individual story arc.
