Petit Charat, also known as Puchiko or Capuccino, originates from the Di Gi Charat franchise. Her background shifts between installments. The original series presents her as Dejiko's five-year-old sidekick, rescued by Dejiko from a hole and following her out of gratitude. Later media, especially Winter Garden, establishes her instead as Dejiko's biological younger sister, sharing royal parents from planet Di Gi Charat. She consistently appears as a catgirl with brown hair, dark brown eyes, cat ears, and a tail. Her classic outfit is a sailor-style uniform with orange boots and small cat bells in her hair. Adaptations alter her design: Panyo Panyo gives her a red shirt and black leggings, Nyo! features a light blue dress, and Winter Garden depicts her at age fifteen in a navy blue school uniform. A 2008 redesign briefly changed her eyes to green and swapped the sailor uniform for a light green preschool outfit, reverted in 2013. Generally reserved and speaking sparingly, Puchiko wields a sharp tongue when she does communicate. She possesses a Type B personality and shares Dejiko's eye beam ability. However, her docile nature often weakens the beams, causing unintended emissions like sludge. In the Panyo Panyo series, set when she is three, she displays occasional aggression and successfully uses her eye beams in confrontations. Her role evolves significantly. In the original series and Summer Vacation Special, she works with Dejiko at a Gamers store. During the Summer Vacation Special, an accidental bus ride strands her far from home, triggering a search that extends to America. In Nyo!, she works at a bakery. By Winter Garden, at age fifteen, she briefly takes a job at McDonald's and adopts a more proactive role, mediating conflicts like one between Dejiko and another character. She ends her sentences with "-nyu" across all appearances.
