Description
Petit Charat, universally known as Puchiko, hails from the planet Di Gi Charat. Newer media identifies her as the younger sister of Di Gi Charat (Dejiko), while earlier narratives depict a different origin: Puchiko began following Dejiko out of gratitude after being rescued from a hole. As a princess of her homeworld, she lives in the royal castle with her family, including her parents (the King and Queen), Dejiko, and extended relatives such as cousins Mike Charat and Rinna Charat.
Puchiko appears approximately 6 years old in most continuities, though she is shown as 5 in the pilot. She possesses long brown hair, dark brown eyes, and signature cat-themed accessories: an orange tabby cat ear hat and a matching tail adorned with a blue ribbon. Her standard outfit is a sailor uniform featuring white fabric, a dark sailor tie and skirt, and green accents, worn barefoot. This design briefly changed in 2008 to feature green eyes and a light green preschool uniform, reverting in 2013.
