Description
Zina Void is a Russian transfer student in class 2-B at Koyo Girl's Academy. Her arrival in Japan followed a loss to Hibiki Sakura in an airport arm-wrestling tournament, which drove her to enroll at Hibiki's school and move into Hibiki's house uninvited to seek a rematch. Trained in martial arts since childhood at the Moscow branch of Silverman Gym, she specializes in Sambo combat sports. An orthodox arm-wrestler who ranked fifth in Moscow championships and had never lost to girls her age before Hibiki, she employs the hanging arm wrestling technique.

She possesses a tall stature, chin-length white hair, and blue eyes, typically wearing a short gray tank top and matching shorts during workouts. Her personality blends intense competitiveness with a fervent interest in Japanese culture, particularly cosplay. However, she frequently confuses Japanese culture with Chinese elements, mistaking figures like Jackie Chan or kung fu films as Japanese. Her misunderstandings extend to geography, believing Hong Kong is part of Japan and that Russia observes Japan's Obon festival. Her fluent Japanese, learned through anime, sometimes features stereotypical speech patterns.

Her relationships are complex: she relentlessly pursues Hibiki as a rival despite Hibiki's indifference; bonds with Akemi Soryuin over shared muscle appreciation; discovers and protects Satomi Tachibana's secret identity as cosplayer Yuria Riko, forming a cosplay group with her; exhibits a stalker-like obsession with Sakaguchi Mei; and seeks revenge against Utsunomiya Koharu for an effortless sparring defeat. She is the niece of Ivan Karaev, who disapproves of her reinforcing Russian stereotypes.

Zina participates in activities including amateur combat tournaments with large cash prizes, school initiatives like founding a strength training club, and group events such as ski trips and basketball tournaments. She resides in Hibiki's house, occupying the room formerly used by Hibiki's brother. Personal details include having four sisters, an aversion to hot temperatures, an active search for a boyfriend, and a recurring gag involving name similarities to Russian adult film stars when combined with another character's name.
