Description
Hailing from a secluded village, Arashi draws inspiration from his father Ikazuchi's adventurous legacy and mysterious vanishing. Ikazuchi, also called Tatsumaki or Salt, once shielded their home from a meteorite using a Grachios Zoid before disappearing, bequeathing Arashi a "Book of Adventures" filled with Zoid knowledge and survival tactics. This treasured volume ignited Arashi’s quest to bond with a Zoid and uncover his father’s fate, despite his grandfather Taifuu’s objections over fears he too would desert the village.

Spirited yet impulsive, Arashi frequently acts recklessly to aid others, persisting through multiple failed efforts to tame wild Zoids using ropes, bolt cutters, and oil as bait. His breakthrough came encountering the Wild Liger—a scarred, legendary Zoid distrustful after escaping the Death Metal Empire post-destroying 100 foes. Though the Liger initially attacked him, Arashi endured electric shocks to defend it from Empire soldiers, securing its tentative trust and a Zoid Key that unlocked their "Wild Blast" synergy.

Their partnership faced turmoil when Arashi briefly hesitated to support the Liger mid-battle, provoking its withdrawal. After apologizing and reaffirming their bond, he regained its loyalty, though the Zoid stayed stubborn. Starting as a novice pilot, Arashi honed his skills under Quade’s mentorship, mastering the Liger’s "King Claw" attack before plateauing. Extreme stress triggered a berserk state amplifying the Liger’s power indiscriminately, but advanced training with Quade’s master later unlocked the "Ultra King Claw," boosting Arashi to rival Empire elites.

He founded Team Freedom, recruiting Battalia by safeguarding medicinal plants from bandits and Onigiri during an Empire prison break. His father eventually resurfaced, disclosing he had watched over Arashi covertly. Post-adventures, Arashi journeyed independently with the Liger. Manga variations exclude his berserk state and Penne’s recruitment, depicting the Liger’s unwavering loyalty immediately. Arashi wields the Wild Liger in combat, employing claws, fangs, and a roar cannon, while carrying his father’s book, Zoid Key, and exploration gear.
