Description
Rigur, a hobgoblin residing in Rimuru City, capital of the Jura-Tempest Federation, originated as a goblin from the first village to pledge loyalty to Rimuru Tempest. His successful taming of the Direwolves after their defeat triggered his evolution into a hobgoblin. This transformation granted him a younger, more muscular body, though he retained his distinctive bandana as a prominent feature across all stages.

Rimuru named him in memory of his deceased elder brother, who fell during the Direwolf conflict. Early in Tempest's founding, Rigur became Captain of the Goblin Riders due to his rapport with the Direwolves. He later voluntarily relinquished this position to Gobta, recognizing Gobta's superior suitability. Rigur was subsequently promoted to Head of Security, spearheading national safety under Benimaru's command and reporting directly to him.

Calm, diplomatic, and deeply responsible, Rigur harbors significant guilt over security lapses during the Falmuth invasion, viewing them as personal failures. His curiosity drives him to explore innovative methods, such as adopting new farming techniques observed during a diplomatic delegation exchange with the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania – efforts that contributed to Tempest's prosperity. Rigur maintains unwavering loyalty to Rimuru and the nation, prioritizing their welfare above all. His diplomatic nature proved vital during his assignment as an envoy to Eurazania, with Benimaru acting as his escort.

During the Falmuth assault, Rigur participated in dismantling the barrier-generating crystals. Tasked with the western sector, he and Gobta efficiently eliminated the guarding soldiers and destroyed their crystal before promptly returning to Tempest on Rimuru's orders. Rigur's father expresses pride in his son's growing independence and contributions, though Rigur responds to such praise with characteristic embarrassment.
