Description
Sariel, one of the Four Archangels of the Goddess Clan, commands the Stigma alliance with Ludociel and Tarmiel. He bears a youthful, childlike appearance despite being approximately 5,000 years old, featuring light blue hair, golden eyes, and four angelic wings on his back—the second pair smaller than the first. He typically wears coat-like robes adorned with the Four Archangels' symbol and a halo-like hooded garment.

Confident in his abilities, Sariel initially exhibits arrogance toward the Demon Clan, though less prideful than Ludociel. He demonstrates flexibility and honor, disobeying Ludociel to aid Elizabeth in purifying the Indura forms of Derieri and Monspeet. He rigorously upholds promises, such as leaving his human vessel, Solaseed, once regenerating enough of his original body to prevent her death from the strain. Sariel also defends allies, supporting Elizabeth against critics like Deathpierce.

He received his Grace, "Tornado," from the Supreme Deity and fought in the Holy War 3,000 years ago. During a battle against the Ten Commandments, he confronted Monspeet and Derieri, losing an eye to Derieri while contributing to their purification. His spirit later inhabited a lute after losing his physical body.

In the present era, Sariel formed a pact with the terminally ill human Solaseed, curing her illness in exchange for using her body as a vessel against the resurgent Demon Clan. This possession rapidly matured her body into an adult form due to the stress. In battle, he wielded his Tornado Grace to manipulate wind defensively and offensively, using techniques like Killing Wind Saucer and Shunenbukaki Seijin. He coordinated with Tarmiel for combination attacks, notably trapping Estarossa in a dimensional prison using Enlil no Tenbatsu. Estarossa eventually overwhelmed them after absorbing multiple Commandments.

Recognizing the prolonged use of Solaseed's body risked its destruction, Sariel vacated it once partially regenerated to honor his duty and protect her, entering battle before full restoration. His character development reveals a shift from unwavering confidence to recognizing alliance complexities and power consequences, evident in his willingness to collaborate with former adversaries like Gowther to rescue Mael from the Commandments' influence.
