Description
Originating as a LRIG crafted from her Selector Kaede's memories, Layla fought alongside Kaede in the second round of Selector Battles. She possesses long blonde hair, green eyes, distinctive fangs, and wears attire reminiscent of a viking berserker warrior with revealing elements, complemented by orange nail polish.

Layla exhibits a brutal and sadistic personality, reveling in battle and manipulation. She exploited her former Selector's emotional weaknesses without hesitation and actively anticipated seizing control of a human body, viewing Kaede as weak and contemptible—ultimately labeling her a "weak and disgusting woman."

Roughly six months before the events of *Lostorage conflated WIXOSS*, Layla and Kaede encountered Kiyoi Mizushima. Despite Kiyoi's intent to concede the battle due to Kaede's single remaining coin, Layla intervened. She taunted and psychologically manipulated Kaede during the confrontation, demanding she "make everyone disappear" and hurling insults like "You're seriously about to lose now" and "Stop acting like a frightened kitten." This manipulation triggered a dark energy manifestation within Kaede.

Succumbing to Layla's influence, darkness enveloped Kaede, resulting in possession. Layla commanded her possessed Selector to attack Kiyoi and Piruluk using the Coin Bet Skill "Doping." However, reflected damage caused Kaede to lose her final coin. Following Kaede's disappearance, Layla successfully assumed control of her physical body.

Within the ongoing Selector Battles of *Lostorage conflated WIXOSS*, Layla operates as an antagonist in Kaede's form. She actively seeks intense battles, explicitly desiring confrontations that "make her blood boil." She encountered Carnival, another antagonist inhabiting a human body, and challenged her to a duel; the outcome remains undocumented.

Layla employed a Key Card in subsequent battles to revert to her LRIG form. She defeated Selectors Hitoe Uemura and Yuzuki Kurebayashi, capturing their LRIGs (Midoriko and Hanayo, respectively) under the revised battle rules. Yuzuki herself was also captured after her defeat. Layla later battled Ruuko Kominato but was decisively defeated.

Her motivations seemed driven by a desire for challenging combat, potentially including a specific aim to confront Carnival. Layla's active role concluded following her defeat by Ruuko Kominato.
