Maya stands among Aurora, the five formidable women governing Fuyuu City, a futuristic space colony where men are subjugated as the inferior "Otaku" class. As part of Aurora, she enforces the regime denying men fundamental rights. The protagonist, an amnesiac male challenging Aurora's rule to restore equality, encounters Maya during his quest. Through his journey and interactions with many female figures, he wins her over. This shift leads Maya to support his cause, ultimately contributing to the liberation of men and the establishment of a new social order granting them rights. Her role culminates in acknowledged participation in Fuyuu City's transformation.
