Description
Skorpion leads the German Junior Boxing Team in the World Tournament arc. Alongside Krüger Helga, he represents Germany, embodying a nationalistic persona rooted in historical imagery. His specialized boxing technique reflects opponents' attacks back at them, amplifying the damage inflicted by their own strikes and establishing him as a formidable tactical opponent.
Before the tournament matches, Skorpion identifies Japanese team members Ryuuji Takane and Jun Kenzaki as significant threats to German dominance and orders surveillance on them. His team faces Golden Japan Jr., culminating in a decisive match where Kenzaki deploys the Galactica Phantom technique against him.
Following Germany's defeat, Skorpion recognizes a greater threat posed by the Twelve Gods of Greece, a group surpassing even the official Greek national team. He shifts perspective and aligns with former rivals, joining the World Junior Union alongside Helga, Shadow Jun, and Napoleon Valois (Baroa) to challenge the Greek boxers' overwhelming power.
The character's original visual design and insignia incorporated controversial symbols associated with Nazism. Subsequent re-releases implemented alterations, including adjustments to the spelling of his name and the removal of specific symbols from later editions, alongside broader edits modernizing sensitive content during the series' republication.
