Cacao is a primary co-heroine in the anime series "VS Knight Lamune & 40 Fire," serving as a shrine maiden alongside Parfait. She aids the third Lamunes warrior during his quest through DokiDoki Space. Timid and sometimes oblivious, Cacao nonetheless surprises with capable combat despite her small stature. Her key magical ability is pendulum dowsing, using a pendant to locate crucial "Otama Gates."

In the sequel OVA "VS Knight Lamune & 40 FRESH," Cacao achieves full holy virgin status. Her magic intensifies significantly, functioning best when her body is unconstricted, leading her to perform spells unclothed at times. Under orders from their leader, Master Follower, Cacao and Parfait embark on a mission across time and space to find the Fourth Warrior, Lamunes. They are joined by Lemon, a young orphan girl, and the spirit advisor PQ.

During their mission aboard the Giga Genos invasion fleet, Cacao confronts its tyrannical commander, Ramunes IV. This cruel version exploits Cacao's lingering affection for the third Lamunes warrior and attempts to assault her at a planetary lake. The mission culminates in a battle triggered by the activation of the destructive mecha Dark Knight. Inside its control room, Cacao participates in the final fight where Lemon is revealed as the true Fourth Warrior and halts the destruction.
