Description
Patrick is one of three college-aged friends, alongside Ryuta and Roberto, who initially visits the Thomas Edison Museum in New York. He voices skepticism about the Spirit World and spiritual phenomena, acting as the group's skeptic. His initial indifference contrasts with Yuko's religious faith and Ryuta's earnest curiosity.

After encountering a shaman delivering a message from Edison, Patrick helps build Edison's "spirit phone" under Ryuta's leadership. Activating the device triggers the group's astral projection into the Spirit World. Experiencing this realm firsthand begins to erode Patrick's skepticism, though doubt remains. While exploring the Fourth Dimension (the Posthumous Realm), his persistent bickering and entitled behavior, especially towards Roberto, creates mental disturbances. These disturbances manifest physically, opening a hole beneath Patrick and Roberto that drags them down into the Demonic Realm of Hell.

Trapped in Hell, Patrick and Roberto get ensnared by demonic vines and targeted by the demons Niches (Friedrich Nietzsche) and Hisler (Adolf Hitler). They are rescued when Ryuta, Yuko, and their spirit guide God Eagle descend in Thomas Edison's elevator. Following the rescue, Patrick witnesses Ryuta confront the demons and summon a Hermes mecha that destroys Hisler's demonic elephant, Bihimoss. This experience, particularly his deliverance from damnation, cements Patrick's conversion from skeptic to believer in the Spirit World and its spiritual hierarchy.
