Description
Born into the Zenin clan, Megumi Fushiguro was orphaned and abandoned by his father Toji, who intended to sell him for profit. Satoru Gojo intercepted this transaction, taking Megumi under his guardianship. Raised alongside his adoptive sister Tsumiki, Megumi drew profound inspiration from her kindness and virtuous nature, vowing to protect her above all else.

Tsumiki’s curse-induced coma and subsequent awakening as a Culling Game participant intensified Megumi’s resolve to hone his skills. He enrolled at Tokyo Jujutsu High through lineage, attaining Grade 2 Sorcerer rank with pending promotion. His exceptional talent granted him the rare privilege of undertaking solo missions as a first-year student.

Megumi inherited the Zenin clan’s Ten Shadows Technique, enabling him to summon and command animal-shaped Shikigami through shadows. His summons include Divine Dogs (White, Black, and Totality), Nue, Great Serpent, Toad, Max Elephant, Rabbit Escape, and Well’s Unknown Abyss—each with distinct abilities like curse detection or water-based attacks. Destroyed Shikigami transfer their power to survivors.

To control new Shikigami, Megumi must complete the Ritual of Subjugation, defeating the target alone or with summoned allies; failure brings death, and third-party interference voids the ritual. He mastered the incomplete Domain Expansion Chimera Shadow Garden, liquefying shadows to infinitely summon Shikigami and drag foes into darkness. Later, he refined this technique by exploiting physical environments tactically.

Calm and reserved, Megumi rarely displays emotions outwardly. He prioritizes his friends’ safety over his own, guided by unwavering integrity. Though social interactions stress him, he forged a close partnership with Yuji Itadori after their initial mission together. His strategic combat mindset occasionally gives way to emotional surges, as seen against a finger-bearing curse.

During the Shibuya Incident, Megumi unknowingly aided his resurrected father Toji in defeating Dagon before Toji’s suicide. Megumi later inadvertently became Zenin clan head after the leader’s death.

In the Culling Game, Sukuna seized Megumi’s body as a vessel. Consumed by guilt over Sukuna’s actions and driven by profound responsibility and integrity, Megumi rejected all rescue attempts.
