Michio Hazama is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator, born on October 7, 1933, in Tokyo. He is a graduate of the Stage Arts Institute and is a legendary figure in the Japanese voice acting industry, with a career spanning from the 1950s to the present day. Hazama is currently represented by Mouvement, an agency he also founded. He is widely regarded as one of the most versatile and trusted voice actors in the business, a reputation that led to the industry saying, "If we're in a pinch, call Hazama".
Hazama's career is distinguished by an immense volume of work, particularly in the field of dubbing foreign films and television series, as well as narration. His voice can be heard across numerous classic and contemporary anime series, OVAs, and films. He is the official Japanese dubbing voice for several major Hollywood stars, most notably Sylvester Stallone, whom he has voiced in the Rocky series and Rambo films.
