Description
A former revolutionary leader who founded a faction to challenge an oppressive religious regime now embraces pacifism, clashing with his successors’ militant strategies. His insistence on diplomacy over violence strains ties to the organization he once commanded. A familial bond surfaces during a perilous joint infiltration to rescue a pivotal captive, exposing his identity as the protagonist’s estranged father.

Commanding a nomadic merchant caravan trading essential resources, he covertly undermines the religious regime by smuggling intelligence and supplies to dissenters. He attempts to broker peace by addressing systemic resource inequities with the regime’s leaders, but surging clashes between factions sabotage each negotiation. When coordinating with the protagonist to extract the recaptured figure, he forges a fragile alliance with his former revolutionary comrades. The operation collapses under religious forces’ intervention, cementing the key figure’s imprisonment.

Guiding the protagonist with tactical acumen, he advocates nonviolent resistance while grappling with their fractured bond. Conversations unearth echoes of their shared past—half-spoken regrets, veiled resentments—though the full history remains elusive. His journey ends without reconciling with his child or achieving peace, the conflict raging beyond his influence as he withdraws, ideals intact but aspirations unfulfilled.
