Aya, Hutch's biological sister, survives the catastrophic wasp assault that destroys their hive and severs them from their mother, the Queen Bee. Initially ignorant of Hutch's existence, she later joins his quest to locate their mother during the original series, displaying consistent kindness and care despite vulnerabilities stemming from her youth.

Her relationship with Hutch deepens through shared trials, transforming from initial solitude into a resilient sibling bond defined by mutual protection and responsibility.
