Description
Evangeline Burton, known as Eve, survived a catastrophic shipwreck at age eight. The ordeal caused amnesia and left a scar on her left temple, hidden beneath her long blond hair. Raised initially in Nafrece by her mother, Eleanor Burton, she remained unaware she was the granddaughter of golf magnate Michael Burton. Her father, professional golfer Kazuhiko Hodaka, briefly reunited with the family before they perished in the disaster. Eve washed ashore unconscious, rescued by Klein and Lily Lipman. With no memory beyond her first name, they raised her in the Nafrece slums.

Eve developed a distinctive, aggressive golf style called "Rainbow Bullets," featuring creative shot-making. She learned the fundamentals through clandestine training with golf legend Leo Millafoden. Her signature arsenal includes seven color-coded shots: the Blue Bullet for long distance, Red Bullet for high trajectories, Green Bullet for putting, Yellow Bullet for bunker escapes, Purple Bullet for curving shots, Orange Bullet for precision flag targeting, and Indigo Bullet for water bounces. She later mastered advanced fusion techniques like "Rainbow Shot: Burst!" and "Rainbow Shot: Over the Rainbow!", blending Leo's methods with her father's influence.

Personality-wise, Eve exhibits a rough, direct manner and impatience with wasted time. Though calm under pressure, she displays fierce protectiveness toward her found family—Klein, Lily, and three orphaned sisters, Emily, Jessica, and Charlotte. She used her golf winnings to support them, leading to high-stakes underground matches orchestrated by the Nafrece golf mafia, where she served as a ringer. Her encounter with Japanese prodigy Aoi Amawashi ignited an intense rivalry intertwined with mutual fascination, driving Eve to seek rematches to prove her abilities.

Fleeing Nafrece to evade mafia retaliation, Eve enrolled at Japan's Raiho Girls' Academy, where Aoi attended. Competing together, they won the All-Japan Girls High School Golf Doubles Championship, though Aoi collapsed from health issues afterward. During this period, Eve gradually recovered memories of her past, confirmed in Episode 15 when she recalled Kazuhiko as her father and Eleanor as her mother, contextualizing her natural affinity for Kazuhiko's "Rainbow Shot" technique.

Her golf career includes notable tournaments: impersonating pro Chris Christina to place 4th in the Nafrece Open; an unranked but dominant performance in the Nafrece Under-15 Jr. Championship; winning the Arios Europe Women's Open; and facing disqualification at the British Women's Open. Key matches include victories over Rose Aleon and Haruka Misono, draws against Kaoruko Iijima, and unresolved contests against Aoi.

Relationships define her journey. Beyond the complex bond with rival Aoi, Eve maintains loyalty to the Lipman sisters and Klein, funding his bar through golf hustling. Allies like Vipere helped her family obtain legal documentation and establish a café, The White Hart. Her mentor Leo disappeared after three years of training, severing financial support and forcing her into underground matches.

Eve progresses into Season 2 with her memory restored and professional aspirations solidified. Her unresolved final match against Aoi signifies ongoing growth, her golf style evolving to incorporate elements from both Leo and Kazuhiko while retaining its signature unorthodox flair.
