Description
Hana Uzaki is a 19-year-old second-year university student standing 145 cm tall, with silver-gray hair, blue eyes, and a 96 cm bust (J-cup). She frequently wears a blue-and-white long-sleeve shirt printed with "sugoi dekai" ("very large"), a light blue miniskirt, black pantyhose, and walnut brown boots. Her petite frame often causes others to mistake her for an elementary school student.

Energetic, confident, and cheerful, Hana embodies "uzakawaii" (annoying yet cute). She thrives outdoors, playing video games, and socializing, though her spontaneity manifests as loudness, stubbornness, and impulsiveness. She playfully teases others—especially upperclassman Shinichi Sakurai—and overindulges in alcohol when available. Despite occasional immaturity, she shows loyalty and responsibility when caring for others. Though she abandoned her childhood Kansai dialect after bullying for sounding "delinquent," she retains the verbal tic "〜ッス" (ssu).

Hana met Shinichi at 15 as a high school swimming club assistant manager. He discovered her practicing alone and offered private lessons, revealing his kindness beneath a stern exterior. After enrolling at his university, she spent her freshman year observing his isolation and resolved to disrupt his solitude by persistently engaging him in social activities.

Their relationship evolves through key moments: Hana initially denies romantic feelings, reacting with embarrassment to accidental intimacy like breast touching. A drunken misunderstanding leads her to believe Shinichi confessed love, though she forgets the incident. Later, a university festival fortune-telling reveals extreme compatibility, prompting partial acknowledgment of her feelings. Anxiety grows as Shinichi’s graduation nears. During Christmas at her family home, Shinichi drunkenly calls her "special" and uncovers her unspoken love. After his sober confession, they date. Hana consciously matures, reducing stubbornness to initiate physical closeness—culminating in their first kiss and consensual intimacy. She learns cooking to spend time with him and navigates new experiences like hand-holding and planning their first sexual encounter.

Her family includes father Fujio (overprotective but respects Shinichi), mother Tsuki (initially misjudges Shinichi as intimidating), younger sister Yanagi (enjoys gaming and teasing), and younger brother Kiri (swimming club member). They celebrate holidays together, with Fujio’s boisterousness embarrassing his children. Hana works part-time at a café alongside Shinichi and friends Ami and Sakaki, who actively support their romance.

In 2019, controversy arose when Hana’s image was used in a Japanese Red Cross blood drive campaign, criticized by some as overly provocative, contributing to her recognition in Western media.
