Description
Elaine, a wingless fairy born from the Sacred Tree and younger sister to Harlequin, the Fairy King, guarded the Fountain of Youth in solitude for 700 years after her brother’s departure, distrusting humans who sought to plunder its waters. Her isolation fractured upon meeting Ban, an immortality-seeking bandit whose heart she scrutinized, uncovering unexpected sincerity. Over seven days, their bond deepened into romance, shattered when demons attacked. Elaine sacrificed herself by transferring the fountain’s power to Ban through a kiss, gifting him immortality while entrusting him with the forest’s last seed. Her death spurred Ban’s years-long quest to revive her.

Her spirit later intervened in the Capital of the Dead, halting her brother’s petrification of Ban and mending their fractured bond, acknowledging Ban’s role in alleviating her loneliness. Temporarily resurrected by demonic magic, Elaine emerged with a possessive edge, targeting Jericho in jealous fury until Ban’s steadfast devotion quelled her darkness. Full restoration came when Ban surrendered his immortality, reviving her completely. Reborn with matured wings amplifying her magic from 2,010 to 18,000, she donned a forest-green tavern gown and resumed guardianship with renewed strength.

Elaine commands wind, nature, and levitation, reads hearts, and briefly alters her form. Her kindness drives selfless acts, nearly sacrificing herself again to protect the Four Races. Marrying Ban, she bore Lancelot, fostering a bond rooted in trust. Her journey—from solitary guardian to a bridge between fairies and humans—highlights reconciliation with King and undying love with Ban, cementing her as a cornerstone of resilience and unity within the Fairy Clan and beyond.
