Brianna Knickerbocker is an American voice actress known for her extensive work in English dubs of Japanese anime and video games. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 31, she initially moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in fashion design after earning her degree. However, she left the industry on her first day, realizing it was not the right path for her. She subsequently found an acting opportunity through an online advertisement, which launched her career in voice acting. Based in Los Angeles, she has been active in the industry since 2015.

Knickerbocker has portrayed a wide array of characters, demonstrating a range from intense and dramatic roles to comedic and lighthearted ones. She is perhaps best known for her role as the devoted maid Rem in the popular series Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World. Another significant and physically demanding role was voicing the titular spider protagonist, Kumoko, in So I'm a Spider, So What?. In the fantasy series The Rising of the Shield Hero, she played Filo, a child-like girl who can transform into a filolial (a large bird-like creature). She also voices the quiet and emotionally reserved Kanao Tsuyuri in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and the gentle fairy Elaine in The Seven Deadly Sins franchise.

Her filmography includes leading roles in a variety of other series. She is the voice of Tuesday Simmons in Carole & Tuesday, Misha Necron in The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Wiz in KonoSuba, and Seira J. Loyard in Noblesse. Other prominent anime roles include Liliana S. B. Heiligh in Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest, Anna in The Promised Neverland, Macy Baljure in Burn the Witch, Iris in The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest, Flare in Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation, and Linel in Sword Art Online: Alicization. In the crossover series Isekai Quartet, she voices three different characters: Rem, Filo, and Wiz.

Beyond anime, Knickerbocker is highly prolific in the video game industry. Some of her most notable game roles include Hu Tao in Genshin Impact, Sakura and Charlotte in Fire Emblem Fates, Dana in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, Rin in Catherine: Full Body, Narmaya in the Granblue Fantasy series, and Ludmila in Rune Factory 5.

Knickerbocker frequently collaborates with several major dubbing studios and directors in the Los Angeles area, becoming a recurring voice in the industry. Her work often places her in fantasy and isekai genres, where she frequently portrays characters with magical abilities or those from non-human perspectives.

In addition to her voice acting, Knickerbocker is also a singer and songwriter, performing under the name Starless. Her musical talents have been incorporated into some of her roles, such as providing singing for her character Shenhua in Shenmue III. Early in her career, she received recognition for her work, winning both the Staff Choice Award and the People's Choice Award for Breakthrough Voice Actress of the Year at the 4th Annual BTVA Anime Dub Awards in 2015.
