TV-Series
Description
Apollo ranks among the six Jupiter Sisters, celestial deities who sacrificed themselves centuries past to seal Old Hell. When the seal fractured, she inhabited the human girl Kanon Nakagawa without initial influence. Apollo slowly regained strength through the affection generated by Kanon’s idol performances, eventually manifesting through reflections and altering Kanon’s memories of prior encounters with Keima Katsuragi.
When controlling Kanon’s form, Apollo mirrors her appearance save for triangular markings beneath her eyes and a forehead dot. Her powers focus on healing arts and divination, acknowledged by her sisters as a master restorer. She executes intricate protective spells, such as sustaining Kanon’s life while weakened by a cursed dagger tainted with Old Hell’s magic. Apollo projects wide-range alarms and glimpses future fragments, though her prophecies often hinge on erratic elements like luck.
Apollo displays a carefree, impulsive nature, frequently acting without deliberation and declaring herself "bad at thinking." Despite this, her sisters observe latent caution, evident when she deployed a high-risk spell to thwart Vintage’s assault on Kanon. Her strategic blind spots surface when she engineers plans disregarding repercussions, exemplified by manipulating a seven-year-old Keima to cultivate Kanon’s future affection. Apollo maintains a cooperative bond with Kanon, backing her romantic endeavors and showing remorse when jeopardizing her.
During a school confession where Kanon proclaimed love for Keima, Apollo seized control to escape Vintage agent Fiore. Stabbed by an enchanted dagger, she emitted a skyward warning to her sisters before collapsing. The wound confined Apollo to a life-preserving "submerged state" within Kanon’s subconscious, where she purified a replica of Maijima Town to avert future calamities. There, she guided Keima, bestowed an olive leaf, healed his cold, and pressed him to act within three days.
Rescued from Vintage’s kidnapping at the Mai-High Festival, Apollo joined her reactivated sisters in eradicating their hideout. Later, she aided in crafting a magic circle to dispatch Keima and Elsie through time, impatiently noting Kanon’s work obligations. At a goddess-host sleepover, she competed in debates over winning Keima’s favor, touting Kanon’s idol fame and taunting fellow goddesses. Winning a lottery to watch over Keima’s unconscious form, she transported him to Kanon, exploiting his amnesia for Kanon’s advantage before voicing irritation when rivals interfered.
