Description
Forged by the Dark Lord Hadlar through forbidden magic on an Orichalcos knight chess piece, Sigma serves as an elite Royal Guard within Hadlar's personal guard. His design embodies the knight motif: a silvery metallic humanoid form armored with a horse's head motif and wielding a jousting lance. A compartment in his chest houses the Mirror of Shahal, a magical shield he can deploy.

Sigma adheres strictly to a chivalric code. While ruthlessly dedicated to eliminating Hadlar's targets, he fights with fairness, honor, and respect for worthy opponents. He never underestimates adversaries, regardless of apparent weakness, and relishes challenging battles. This caution and refusal to dismiss threats make him exceptionally dangerous. His loyalty to Hadlar remains absolute.

Crafted from near-indestructible divine Orichalcos metal, Sigma is immune to most attacks; only the mightiest weapons or spells can harm him, and only by striking his heart-level core. He can concentrate power to bolster defenses further. He possesses basic teleportation and flight spells and can revert to a human-sized chess piece. His combat prowess includes exceptional speed and agility, making him the fastest Royal Guard unless the Queen Warrior Albinass exerts full effort. He masters explosive Boom spells fired from his mouth. His lethal Lightning Buster technique detaches his right hand, revealing a cannon firing a concentrated blast comparable to the Kaboom spell. This attack detonates internally within close-range targets, causing severe organ damage. Crucially, the Mirror of Shahal reflects any spell or aura-based energy attack back at the caster, making him a specialized counter to spellcasters.

Created alongside the other Royal Guards by Hadlar's forbidden magic, Sigma first participated in the assault on Sababa Kingdom. The Guards devastated the capital and destroyed an enemy weapons shipment. Confronted by the Disciples of Avan, Sigma battled Maam, matching her speed. Beast King Crocodine's intervention cost Sigma an arm. When Popp attempted to finish him with Medoroa, the Rook Warrior Block intervened, collapsing the battlefield and burying them. Hadlar ordered a retreat and healed Sigma.

Later, during the conflict at the Field of Death, an explosion from Hadlar's Black Core halted the battle. Sigma and the Guards survived, sensing Hadlar's peril during his rebellion against Dark King Vearn. Mystvearn and Killvearn immobilized Sigma, Block, Albinass, and Hym. Block later sacrificed himself to save Hadlar.

Sigma's final battle occurred when the Disciples stormed Vearn's palace. Ordered by Hadlar to intercept Dai's companions, Sigma faced Popp. He maintained the upper hand, acknowledging Popp's growth as a formidable opponent. Popp eventually dislodged the Mirror of Shahal using an extensible rod and pinned Sigma's hand to a wall. Sigma detached his hand and struck with Lightning Buster, but Popp—now an Archmage with healing—survived. Popp feigned casting Medoroa, targeting the discarded Mirror to bounce the spell back. Sigma anticipated this, grabbed Popp, and attempted to throw him into the reflected spell. However, the initial Medoroa was a weaker decoy; Popp landed the genuine spell while Sigma was distracted. Mortally wounded with his torso obliterated, Sigma expressed no ill will, commended Popp for a satisfying battle, and bequeathed him the Mirror of Shahal as a token of respect, advising concealment under clothing due to its weight. Popp later used the Mirror strategically against Vearn. Sigma perished from his injuries.
