Chikahiro Kobayashi is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on September 5, 1983, in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Atomic Monkey. He began his career in live theater, joining the Yen Theater Research Institute in 2007 and subsequently becoming a member of the Drama Group Yen in 2009, where he performed in stage productions before expanding his focus to voice acting. Kobayashi's voice is characterized as a higher baritone. His first major breakthrough role was providing the voice of Saichi Sugimoto in the television anime Golden Kamuy, starting in 2018. He voices the anthropomorphic wolf Legoshi in the anime Beastars, the storm monster Ranga in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime franchise, including its spinoff The Slime Diaries, and Rikuo Uozumi in Sing "Yesterday" for Me. His career encompasses a broad range of other significant anime roles. He also voiced the character Ryder in the Japanese dub of the animated film Frozen II. In the video game industry, he is well-known for voicing the male protagonist V in the Japanese version of Cyberpunk 2077. His other video game roles include Butch in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Tadakatsu Honda in Samurai Warriors 5, Kaito Sumeragi in Scarlet Nexus, and Von Lycaon in Zenless Zone Zero.
