Description
Legoshi, a gray wolf with clandestine Komodo dragon heritage through his mother Leano—a hybrid who retreated into isolation as reptilian traits manifested before taking her own life during his youth—bears both the genetic legacy and unresolved grief of her demise. His Komodo dragon grandfather Gosha assumed guardianship, though Legoshi privately held him responsible for Leano’s death, severing contact for five years after entering Cherryton Academy. Though registered as a purebred wolf, he inherited Gosha’s slit pupils, venom resistance, and angular facial structure, yet lacks active venom glands.

Introverted and prone to self-loathing, Legoshi grappled with the dissonance between his imposing carnivore physique and a gentle, empathetic nature. He habitually concealed his fangs and slumped to minimize intimidation, repressing predatory impulses that clashed with his morality. A fraught connection with Haru, a petite dwarf rabbit, ignited simultaneous protective tenderness and primal hunger, exacerbating his existential turmoil. His ambivalence extended to Louis, a charismatic red deer and theater star whose conflicting philosophies on predator-prey dynamics both inspired and alienated him.

Legoshi’s path shifted during the investigation into Tem’s murder, where his sharp senses and deductive instincts exposed the killer, testing his physical limits and ethics. Under Gohin, a panda therapist, he honed combat skills through meat-free training, enduring fur discoloration and injuries. Violent confrontations with Riz and the hybrid antagonist Melon left lasting scars—a notched ear, facial marks—and culminated in Louis surrendering his own flesh to empower Legoshi in battle, cementing their fraught alliance.

His tentative bond with Haru weathered societal scorn and internal conflicts, evolving into a committed yet precarious interspecies partnership. Gradually, Legoshi reconciled his wolf identity with a rejection of predatory norms, refusing meat and advocating equality. Post-Cherryton, he reconnected with Gosha while laboring in menial jobs, navigating a prejudiced society.

Physical changes mirrored his growth: stress-induced fur shifts, a shaved pelt during covert missions, and teeth altered by combat. Hybrid traits granted unique advantages—toxin immunity, heightened tracking, durable hide—while childhood quirks like insect fascination and weather enthusiasm persisted, remnants of a lonely youth alleviated only by Jack, a steadfast Labrador friend.

Legoshi’s journey traces a fractured society’s tensions through his metamorphosis from a self-effacing student to a resolute figure balancing compassion and resilience, embodying the struggle to harmonize instinct, identity, and systemic change.
