Description
Asuka Suzumori, a second-year high school student, becomes stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash during a school trip. She previously participated in basketball and track clubs, aspiring to compete despite self-admitted difficulties with scoring in basketball. Her grandmother spoiled her during childhood, contributing to occasional childish behavior. Standing 163 centimeters tall, she possesses a slender figure with long limbs and a notably voluptuous physique, including a G-cup bust. Her appearance features short brown hair with a distinctive pointed tuft (ahoge), dark reddish eyes, and her typical school uniform: a white short-sleeved shirt, brown sweater vest, red ribbon, navy blue skirt, and white half-legged stockings. Her underwear has a small bunny printed on the front.

Cheerful, athletic, and optimistic, she serves as the group’s primary mood-maker. She describes herself as tough but displays significant vulnerability to insects, thunderstorms, and darkness. Generally brave and friendly, her impulsiveness leads to comedic mishaps and occasional exasperation from companions—exemplified by entering the ocean during a thunderstorm or collecting contaminated water downstream. She tends not to learn from mistakes, earning a reputation for repeated errors. Emotionally sensitive, she cries easily when situations deviate from expectations or when reminiscing about comforts like missed basketball games. She has a large appetite, sometimes prompting food-theft suspicions, and desires recognition, particularly from Homare Onishima. She demonstrates loyalty and appreciation for each group member, valuing their collective companionship.

Her physical strength and athleticism—honed through sports—make her indispensable for demanding tasks like hunting, fishing, swimming long distances, and physical labor. She ranks second in physical prowess only to Homare, often partnering with her during resource-gathering expeditions. However, she struggles with activities requiring careful thought, problem-solving, or fine motor skills, admitting to lacking dexterity. Throughout their ordeal, she confronts fears: though initially revolted by insects, amphibians, and unconventional food, hunger and determination drive her to overcome these aversions. Sympathetic toward live prey—she once hesitated to kill a captured toad, allowing its escape—she gradually adapts to survival necessities. Her attempts to contribute include suggesting island names like "A-Ho-Mu-Shi Island" (rejected by the group) and participating in cooperation, though her impulsiveness continues to cause intermittent setbacks.
