Hiyori Kōno is a Japanese voice actress born on June 21, 1998, in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the agency First Wind Production, having previously been represented by With Line. Her height is 164 cm, and her hobbies and special skills include reading, photography, and calligraphy. In addition to her voice acting career, she was a member of the idol girl group teaRLove.
Kōno made her debut as a voice actress in 2017 with minor roles in anime series such as Love Tyrant and Anonymous Noise. The following year, she landed her first main role as Pochi in the isekai series Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody. Also in 2018, she began voicing Kaho Komiya, a member of the unit "放学后Climax Girls" in the mobile game The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, a role she continues to reprise in various related media and the 2024 television anime adaptation.
The year 2019 marked a significant period of growth for Kōno, as she took on a wide range of characters. She played the gentle innkeeper's daughter Renny in Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!, the shy Kazusa Onodera in the coming-of-age drama O Maidens in Your Savage Season, the small but loyal Phil in the acclaimed thriller The Promised Neverland, and the energetic Asuka Suzumori in the survival comedy Are You Lost?. She also voiced the cheerful Notsugi Futago in Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu and Kon Akitsune in the cheerleading anime Anima Yell!.
In 2020, Kōno achieved a major career milestone when she was cast as Hinata Hiramitsu, also known as Cure Sparkle, in the long-running magical girl franchise Healin' Good Precure. She portrayed the energetic and fashionable middle schooler for the series' entire run, including its two feature films: Pretty Cure Miracle Leap: A Wonderful Day with Everyone and Eiga Healin' Good PreCure Yume no Machi de Kyun! tto GoGo!.
Following her tenure as a Pretty Cure, Kōno has continued to be active in both anime and video games. Her subsequent anime roles include Housenka in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki, Kirara Mizutani in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Hana Ginji in the 2025 series Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. In video games, she is known for voicing No Reason in the popular franchise Umayuru: Pretty Derby. Other notable video game credits include Niko Komamura in The Caligula Effect 2, Hilda in Loopers, and Chris in 100% Orange Juice!. Her work in dubbing includes providing the Japanese voice for the character Stan in the animated series The Last Summoner.
