Description
Riko Morisawa, a carefree yet assertive girl with medium-length brown-orange hair and blue eyes, originates from Tokorozawa. During a trip to Tokyo with a friend, she acquires an LBX kit labeled "Assassin" for her father. Upon opening the box, a temporal rift transports her to an alternate Japan where she plummets from the sky. An LBX exosuit based on the Assassin model materializes around her during the fall, saving her life. She encounters attacking metallic entities called Mimesis upon landing and is rescued by four other girls equipped with similar LBX armor. Prior to her displacement, Riko possessed no combat experience, including familiarity with cork guns.

Her LBX unit, Assassin, is a Wild Frame model classified as Special Ops. It specializes in long-range combat, utilizing the Executioner precision rifle which fires energy ammunition capable of piercing targets. The unit enhances group combat capabilities by at least 12% and increases tactical options by approximately 15%. Key systems include a Booster/Hover System for mobility, a Powered Exoskeleton, Automated and Manual Shooting Systems, Suspension for impact mitigation, and a lightweight Armor Base System providing mobility and damage suppression. The unit also incorporates reconnaissance drones and a navigation system.

Assassin's unique Attack Function is a self-destruct mechanism. This function channels all energy outward through an enhancement coating, protecting the user while devastating surrounding targets. Activation requires 10 seconds and can only be used once due to complete life energy depletion.

After joining the 13th Interceptor Unit, designated "Soukou Musume," Riko trains to combat the Mimesis. She develops combat skills and forges bonds with the other displaced girls. Her development culminates in a pivotal battle where she becomes the sole operative capable of saving her unit and achieving their objective.

Her name, written in katakana as リコ (Riko), carries potential meanings when written in kanji: 莉子 combines "white jasmine" (莉) and "child" (子), while 理子 combines "reason/logic" (理) and "child" (子).
