Rikako Aida is a Japanese voice actress, singer, and actress from Tokyo, born on August 8, 1992. She is affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production. Aida spent part of her childhood in Los Angeles, living there from second to fifth grade. She began her entertainment career as a child actress and model, initially working under the stage name Rikako Itō. Her aspiration to become a voice actress was sparked by an encounter with the anime Gintama.

Aida made her voice acting debut in 2014 with a role in the anime Pac-World. In 2015, she joined Ken Production, adopting her current stage name. Her career-defining role came in 2016 when she was cast as Riko Sakurauchi in the multimedia project Love Live! Sunshine!!. This character, a transfer student and member of the school idol group Aqours, became her most recognized work, spanning multiple television series, films, and video games. She is also a member of Guilty Kiss, a sub-unit of Aqours.

Following her breakthrough, Aida secured a wide range of main and supporting roles. Her versatility is demonstrated through characters such as Koto Ōtsuki in Senryū Girl, Shino Saotome in Val x Love, and Naru Senda in Kakushigoto. In 2021, she voiced Fūka Miyazawa in the original anime The Aquatope on White Sand and Riko in LBX Girls. She continued her association with the Love Live! Sunshine!! universe by reprising her role as Riko in the 2023 series Yohane the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirror. Her film work includes voicing Jackie in Eiga Kuma no Gakkō: Patissier Jackie to Ohisama no Sweets.

In addition to her voice acting, Aida has pursued a solo singing career, debuting in 2019 under the DMM music label. Her song "Ordinary Love" served as the ending theme for Senryū Girl, and her single "for..." was used as the opening theme for Val x Love. She has released several albums and EPs, including Principal, Curtain raise, and Fiction.

Aida's performance as part of Aqours was recognized with the Singing Award at the 11th Seiyu Awards in 2017. Her work extends to video games, with roles in titles such as Girls' Frontline, Atelier Ryza 2, and Arknights, and to dubbing foreign media, including providing the Japanese voice for Villanelle in Killing Eve.
