His hair, primarily black with white tips, falls messily with longer strands framing his face before his ears. Two horns protrude cleanly from his forehead. He wears a dark green kimono featuring a light green floral symbol on the chest and a nearby brush-like charm.

Responsible and organized, he handles most domestic duties like cleaning and cooking. He maintains a generally calm and caring demeanor toward close companions but flares with a short temper when Shizuno neglects chores. His consideration shines through baking treats for visitors Somali and Golem.

During "The River and the Oni's Dwelling," he throws a fruit at Shizuno for avoiding cleaning, accidentally striking Somali and Golem. He apologizes by offering cake, later engaging Somali in household tasks while Shizuno discusses medicine with Golem. Before their departure, he listens to Golem’s concerns about finding Somali’s parents and gifts Somali journey sweets.

As Shizuno’s assistant, he manages household responsibilities and admonishes Shizuno for untidiness or inappropriate remarks. He interacts kindly with Somali, entrusting her with chores and sharing food. Toward Golem, he observes Somali’s contentment in Golem’s company, noting Golem’s initial unawareness of her attachment.
