Kagura's past is marked by family tragedy when a car accident killed his stepbrother. Blamed for the death by his sister, who later died by suicide, Kagura survived emotionally devastated, relying primarily on his friend Asami for support.

Initially unaware of his heritage, Kagura possesses latent abilities as an Elementalor—a human controlling natural forces to maintain cosmic balance. These powers manifest when Lord Shiki, a water Elementalor, kidnaps Asami to exploit her unique abilities for freeing his imprisoned daughter. Kagura intervenes to protect her, sustains injuries, and awakens his elemental capabilities.

Accepting his identity, Kagura discovers exceptional power among Elementalors. He allies with others to rescue Asami and stop Lord Shiki from disrupting natural harmony by releasing his daughter, who once nearly destroyed Earth. During confrontations, Kagura demonstrates combat abilities, manifesting distinctive wings described as elongated, segmented structures resembling deflated airbags or fabric with visible seams.

Kagura's journey transforms him from a grief-stricken survivor into a proactive guardian. His motivation evolves from personal loss towards protecting others and upholding balance between elemental forces.
