Description
Yuki, full name Yukito Orikasa, forms half of the popular idol duo Re:vale alongside his partner Momo. They cultivate a comedic "married couple" dynamic, with Yuki acting as the straight man (tsukkomi) to Momo's antics. While projecting a cool, collected image, he frequently loses composure, especially when laughing, and finds interpreting others' feelings challenging. Deeply sensitive and caring towards friends and juniors, he communicates most authentically through songwriting rather than words. He treasures Momo above all else, taking extreme measures to safeguard him.

His youth was marked by significant social difficulties. Profoundly antisocial, he spoke only on topics that interested him, disregarding others, leading to failed band partnerships due to his attitude and blunt critiques. His sole passion was music creation, driving him to form Re:vale with Banri after previous bandmates quit. Their partnership began distantly, with Banri initially maintaining emotional separation, though they adopted an idol format with prerecorded music. Yuki's obsessive dedication isolated him until a breakdown prompted Banri to understand his frustration over bandmates lacking his passion, bridging their gap.

Yuki composes all Re:vale songs with intense focus, often working late. His lyrics express a desire for universal connection, wanting "everything, from the lowliest of bugs to God himself" to love his songs, while only wanting those who treasure them to listen—a stark contrast to his interpersonal struggles. He relies heavily on Momo and their manager, Rinto Okazaki, admitting he would be "useless" without them, particularly for waking up as he struggles severely with mornings.

Character development shows gradual growth in emotional awareness and relationships. He maintained considerable distance from Banri early on, but their partnership forced him to confront collaboration. His bond with Momo became central, helping him slowly open up. He actively strives to understand others' feelings, evident during arcs involving peers like Yamato. A traumatic turning point was Banri's accident, causing lasting guilt and fear of loss, intensifying his protective instincts toward Momo. Recently, this protectiveness manifested when he overheard Momo arranging a risky meeting with Toma; he likely intervened, hinted by purchasing a metal baseball bat amid Ryo Tsukumo's dangerous plot targeting Momo.

Yuki possesses distinct traits: he is vegetarian, disliking meat and fish, and harbors a phobia of sharp objects. He enjoys and excels at cooking, specializing in gelée vegetable soup. An indoor person, he prefers drives for viewing scenery. He tolerates spoilers, disliking uncertainty about future events. When drinking, he becomes absentminded; Momo once tied his hair with a gaudy peach-motif hair tie in this state. Their birthdays involve traditions, like Momo dressing as Santa for Yuki's Christmas Eve birthday.

Professionally, Re:vale's influence allows Yuki to support other groups. During the "Music Award Phenomenon" (MOP) rankings, he withdrew Re:vale to enable both Idolish7 and Trigger to perform at a major event, aiming to foster their growth. However, Ryo exploited this decision to undermine the event's integrity, indirectly escalating conflicts. Yuki's actions demonstrate his behind-the-scenes role in guiding juniors, despite unintended consequences.

His story underscores an ongoing evolution from an isolated musician to someone learning to value connections, using his music and actions to protect those he cherishes.
