Rena is a student at the magic school and childhood friends with Ellie. She accompanies Ellie and Senia on a mission from the school's headmaster to rescue kidnapped fellow students from Barua of the Magic Race. During the search, her attention frequently wanders from the task, drifting toward thoughts of food instead of strategizing or preparing for the mission's dangers. Although considered a talented magician under normal circumstances, her magical abilities become unreliable and prone to failure in high-stress situations. This inconsistency proves problematic during critical moments, such as the confrontation with the kidnappers, where she struggles to contribute effectively. Her dependence on her companions becomes evident when the group faces challenges beyond their initial capabilities, ultimately requiring unexpected assistance to succeed.
