Description
Yoshino leads the diplomatic corps of Poseidon, a multinational industrial conglomerate, maintaining a reserved demeanor and relying on succinct, calculated dialogue. Her negotiations leverage precise, persuasive language to counter allegations that Poseidon’s cybernetics enabled domestic terrorism in Olympus, emphasizing the economic risks of severing ties with her corporation.
During a 2138 diplomatic mission to Olympus, she engages Prime Minister Athena Areios on terrorist attacks involving Poseidon-made cyborg components. To preserve trust, Yoshino grants Athena temporary access to Poseidon’s satellite control systems. Following an assault on a security conference, her aide Arguss alerts her to a suspect citing ties to “Halcon”—a discontinued Poseidon research division. Though initially skeptical, Yoshino acknowledges Halcon’s past as a dissolved laboratory experimenting with neural manipulation.
Questioned by ESWAT operatives about Halcon, she discloses that the project closed after lead researcher Elizabeth H. Xander’s accidental death. Yoshino guides them to Halcon’s abandoned zero-gravity facility, identified as the origin of satellite-disrupting signals, and deploys a landmate taskforce to support the operation. Post-briefing, she contemplates the unorthodox collaboration with the operatives, silently willing their mission to succeed.
