Description
Jin Norizuki stands as a central antagonist whose background and actions critically shape the franchise's narrative. His full name, written 法月 仁 in Kanji, combines the surname Norizuki ("law month") with the given name Jin ("compassionate")—an ironic contrast to his conduct. Born July 18 with brown hair and blue eyes, he resides in Harajuku, Tokyo. Jin is the son of Koshi (or Kou) Norizuki and harbors intense resentment toward his younger half-brother, Hijiri Himuro, fueled by their opposing views on Prism Shows and Hijiri's natural talent.

Approximately 4-5 years before the main events, Jin competed as a Prism Star in the Prism King Cup alongside rivals Rei Kurokawa and Hijiri. During the competition, Jin orchestrated Hijiri's injury, eliminating him. When Rei forfeited in protest over the event's diminished spectacle without Hijiri, Jin secured the Prism King title by default—a victory cementing his reputation through manipulation rather than merit.

Jin later succeeded his father as supervisor of Edel Rose, a prestigious academy for Prism Stars. He radically corrupted its founding principles of nobility and artistry, imposing ruthless perfectionism and superficial beauty. Under his leadership, Edel Rose became a cutthroat environment where minor errors warranted expulsion. He cultivated disciples embodying his ideals, notably influencing Hiro Hayami and Bell Renjoji. His animosity extended to June Amou after she denounced him as a "false king" and left Edel Rose for Happy Rain. Jin retaliated by bribing a Prism Show Association executive to ban Happy Rain from the Prism Queen Cup.

His methods encompassed blackmail, intellectual theft, and sabotage. Jin coerced Hiro into a solo debut and stole a song composed by Koji Mihama, claiming it as his own. He engineered the downfall of former Prism Star Ryo Yamada by fabricating and publicizing an underage scandal involving sex and smoking. His unethical reign ended when Hiro exposed his corruption during a live performance, revealing the song theft and bribery. This led to a confrontation with Rei, Hijiri, and his father, who dismissed him from Edel Rose in disgust.

Swearing revenge, Jin founded rival Prism Show agency Schwarz Rose. He transferred disillusioned Edel Rose students to his new institution, enforcing Spartan training regimens and leveraging media manipulation to undermine his former academy. Schwarz Rose emerged as Edel Rose's primary competitor, with Jin specifically targeting its finances and reputation. He recruited prodigies like Louis Kisaragi (a Prism Messenger in human form) and Alexander Tokorov for his schemes. During events like the PRISM.1 tournament, Jin employed underhanded tactics, including manipulating the scoring system to penalize Edel Rose performer Taiga Kougami.

Despite his calculating vindictiveness, rare complexity surfaces. Jin displays protectiveness toward Louis, reacting with visible anger and remorse when Louis collapses mid-performance. He also voices disdain for victories achieved through unfair technological interference, insisting Schwarz Rose must win on its own merit. These moments suggest residual traces of his original ideals, though they remain eclipsed by his pursuit of vengeance against Edel Rose and its successors.
