Description
Born into Tokyo's poverty, Hiro Hayami entered foster care due to his mother's inability to provide for him. At an Amakusa church, caregivers embraced him as family until their accidental deaths, leading to turbulent institutional transfers marked by frequent fights. Reunited with his mother in a rundown apartment, he discovered Prism Star Hijiri Himuro through Prism King Cup streams on her phone, sparking lifelong admiration.

Kō Norizuki spotted Hiro dancing in a park and secured him a scholarship to Edel Rose Academy, approved by his mother. After Kō's departure from Japan, Jin Norizuki enforced strict rules emphasizing Hiro's debt to the family for rescuing him from destitution. This upbringing suppressed Hiro’s personal opinions and defiance toward Jin.

Isolated during his first year at Kakyoin Academy over favoritism suspicions, Hiro at age 13 defended Kōji Mihama from bullies, forging a friendship. He confessed admiration for Kōji’s musical talent, requesting a song to showcase his own skill, while revealing his true dream: inspiring courage in others, not becoming Prism King. Two years later, Hiro petitioned Jin to debut with Kōji as "HiroxKōji". Jin conditioned approval on Hiro claiming authorship of Kōji’s song "Pride". Forced to comply to debut and repay his mother’s debts, Hiro took public credit, prompting Kōji’s confrontation and departure from Edel Rose.

After Kōji left, Hiro manipulated Ito Suzuno to reclaim "Pride" for his solo debut, abandoning his original ideals. Under Jin’s influence, he adopted a deceitful, self-centered idol persona—though Bell Renjoji recognized his authenticity. Desperate, Hiro covertly signaled Kōji and Kazuki Nishina. Their intervention climaxed in a Prism Show where Kazuki performed Kōji’s "Freedom" to convey reconciliation, spurring Hiro to expose Jin’s lies and apologize publicly to fans and Kōji. Initially resolved to quit Prism Shows, Hiro yielded to Kazuki and Kōji’s encouragement, forming Over the Rainbow.

Later, Hiro supported Kōji’s Hollywood career but rejected his song "Over the Sunshine", insisting on performing "Pride" at the Prism King Cup. When Schwarz Rose obtained the song’s rights and assigned it to Louis Kisaragi, Hiro fell into despair. Visiting Kōji in America, he suffered tearful rejection during a duel. Edel Rose students helped him recover. Though Yu Suzuno and Ito wrote him a new Cup entry song, Hiro risked disqualification by performing "Pride"—prompting the Prism Goddess to crown him Prism King, as Kakeru Jūōin revealed Edel Rose had reclaimed the song’s rights.

Beyond Over the Rainbow, Hiro modeled and acted, co-starring with Naru Ayase in "Yoru no Yoshaman". His "Absolute Idol, Love N.G." persona emphasized fan devotion, with yellow roses becoming his signature gift. Offstage, he displayed a reserved, self-deprecating nature, often obscuring his feelings. A childhood habit of biting objects like his glasses persisted, rooted in longing for maternal comfort.
